Super Bowl XLV will be the 45th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football and its 41st annual championship game of the modern era of the National Football League (NFL). The game will be played Feb. 6, 2011, will enable the AFC Champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the NFC champion Green Bay Packers to decide the champion of the NFL for the 2010 season. The game will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the first time the Super Bowl will be held in Dallas-Fort Worth and the third time it will take place in Texas.

Pittsburgh Steelers 2010-end of the season with a record 12-4. They served AFC North Division title and second seed in the AFC and advanced to their eighth Super Bowl, tying the Dallas Cowboys record for most Super Bowl. It was the third Super Bowl for the Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger was the starter when the team in 2004.

Green Bay Packers finished the season with a record of 10-6 and was the first sixth-seeded NFC to reach the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh Steelers fans were all pumped up to support their favorite team, while Packers fans are also happy to see their team become the Super Bowl XLV champion.
